I’ll guide you through the entire process
Chances are if you’ve made it to this page, you are considering booking with me! My booking process may be a little more tedious than some, but I promise to make it worth your while. Below are the steps you can expect to take place when booking with me, and some Frequently Asked Questions!
01. DOES MY STYLE ALIGN WITH YOUR NEEDS?
Choosing a photographer is hard. There are many things to take into consideration. Do you like the angles that I choose to take photos at? Do you like my edit style? Are my prices in your budget? These are all things to consider, and if I can help make your decision any easier, please do not hesitate to reach out!
02. REQUESTING A SESSION
You can visit my “Booking” tab to choose which session you would like, and the date of service you desire. I recommend looking over my packages in my “Pricing” tab first, to see which one best fits your needs.
03. GETTING IN CONTACT
After requesting a session, you can expect me to get in touch through your preferred method of contact. From there we will work together to choose a location, package, date and time for your session! You can also expect a questionnaire to fill out so I can get all the details of your expectations from me as your photographer.
04. SETTING IT IN STONE
To finally get your session officially on my books, you will sign your contract and pay the deposit! 25% of your full session price is required as a non-refundable deposit. For the rest of the cost, I do offer payment plans for any of my packages, we can discuss that in our initial consultation, and is also included in the questionnaire.
05. THE DAY Of YOUR SESSION
During your session I will work with you to take quality images in line with your expectations that we previously discussed. I will do my best to ensure you are comfortable and satisfied with the results.
06. RECEIVING YOUR IMAGES
I send out 2-4 sneak peeks within 48 hours of your shoot. This ensures that you love your images and the edit that is used. My turnaround time is typically 1 week for portrait sessions and 2 weeks for weddings unless stated otherwise.
FAQ
How do I receive my photos?
You will receive a link to an online gallery either by text message or email. From there you can purchase prints and download your photos. I recommend downloading your photos immediately, because galleries expire 6 months from the day they are sent out.
How do I know which package to book?
Choosing a package can be hard, especially if it’s your first time with a professional photographer. If you are having a hard time deciding, reach out to me! We can go over your wants and needs and I can help you decide which one is best for you!
Can I choose the location for my photo shoot?
Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I’m open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you. Please note that some locations are subject to a travel fee.
What does your payment plan look like?
I have a few different options to choose from when it comes to payment plans! A 25% deposit is required for all sessions at booking. After that is paid, I offer weekly, biweekly, and monthly plans. Your session must be paid for in full before you can receive your online gallery. Your first payment on your plan must be paid on or before the date of your session.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. My editing process typically takes 1 week for portrait sessions, and 2 weeks for weddings depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
What happens if I’m late?
As a rule of thumb, always text or call me if you anticipate being late! I’m a gracious person and totally understand that life happens! If you don’t let me know that you are going to be late to your shoot, I have a 15 minute grace period. After that unfortunately I will have to leave.
What if I need to reschedule/cancel?
That’s completely fine! Just try to let me know at least 24 hours before your session is scheduled to start!
Do you still offer event planning services?
Yes! I offer select event planning services! I offer floral arrangements, invitation design, and vendor booking, basically all of the behind the scenes stuff!
